Leathers don't fit!!

Ohhhhhhh my leathers don't fit
Well, technically the jacket and pants do zip up... but it' a whole 'muffin top' situation

Guess I better lose some weight pretty damn fast as the bike's going back together next week!

I can tell you what has happened there
its a case of leather shrinkage due to winter storage and works like this
1 week means they shrink by 1mm
2 weeks = 2mm
but every 4th week they shrink by an extra 1mm therefor week 4 = 5mm shrinkage
so by the end of winter its quite possible for them to have shrunk by one or even two sizes
the effects are further enhanced by the fact that during cold weather winterfood stays in the system longer allowing the body to extract more calories
the only way to stop either effect is to try on leathers at least once a month, this will then reduce the calries ability to accumulate in the system
there of course is the other solution...............replace old kit
